Multifaceted architect and
designer, she trained at Politecnico di Milano and at Faculty of Architecture
of TUDelft University of Technology and, after years of professional experience
in Holland, she returned to Milan where she moved into the folds of design, founding in 2020 her own professional practice
Studiolatte.
From
architecture and interiors she opens up to design and scenography, moving
between different scales: her creative approach aims at building narratives
with peculiar attention to the interaction between space and human practices
and to the circularity of materials.
Moving between different scales and disciplines, she has developed a professional approach aimed at building narratives with peculiar attention to the interaction between space and human practices and to the circularity of materials. One above all: recycled pet becomes wallpaper in her hands that designs oniric environments and contemporary sculptures.
Since 2021 Isabella Del Grandi is art director of Slalom, Italian acoustic design company, and part of Inabita, research and design laboratory for territorial regeneration developing projects all over the world.
Her practice has collaborated with:
Peggy Guggenheim Collection, Loro Piana, Elle Decor Italia, Airbnb, Arpa, Alcova Milano, Alexander McQueen, Furla, Panzeri, Arpa, Icon Magazine, Rimowa, Lambert & Fils, Tenoha, Rubelli ... and others.
Her work has been exhibited among others at:
Stockholm Design Fair, Salone del Mobile, M7 Museum (Doha), Orgatec (Cologne), Museo Diocesano (Milan), Material District (NL), Alcova (Milan), TUDelft (NL).
